A Benefit Compilation to Help Gaza Connect

project:conNEctWORK is a digital compilation album of rare, unreleased, demo, or otherwise exclusive tracks from over 20 artists. The album will be sold on Bandcamp and all proceeds will go to buying eSims to donate to people in Gaza who have had their water, electricity, internet and phone access cut off since October 27th due to the war. The whole process for this project, from concept to release, happened in less than three weeks.

eSims are digital versions of SIM cards which can be purchased, downloaded and used to activate mobile phones without a contract with a wireless service company.

^ That’s all that I will be doing with the money from the album sales. Obviously, we want to encourage people to buy the album but if they don’t want to for whatever reason, they can donate directly.

“POLITICS”

This is the mission statement of the project: “To buy eSims to donate to people in Gaza who have had their water, electricity, internet and phone access cut off since October 27th due to the war.” Each artist may or may not have their own political opinions on top of that if they want to, but this is the only thing we are all agreeing on as a group.

Please promote this to your followers, friends, fans, any activists you know, journalists, influencers, musicians… this is a rare type of fundraiser where the effects of your donations are very, very clear and direct. None of the money is going to “administrative costs” (except for Bandcamp I guess) because we are directly buying the eSims and sending them ourselves. eSims cost about $20-$50… If we can help even one family be able to make a phone call, we have succeeded in helping people through our WORK. But, let’s try to make it hundreds of families.
