“DJ BROKEN RECORD PRESENTS…”

This EP is a result of wanting to do a “DJ Broken Record Presents” kind of release, the “presents” implying a type of team effort or collaboration. The collaborators in this case are the original artists, of course, but also the DJs and dancers of an underground, late night, invite-only spot in Santa Rosa that inspired these sounds. The music at the spot is, of course, open format, but something about its atmosphere is especially welcoming to late night grooves, sampled echoes, funk bass lines, and divas that reverberate past 3am.
